BBBS Fall Hike 2024: A Day of Nature and Community

Ranger Whitney showing BBBS matches the foliage on Frazier Discovery Trail.

We had an incredible time during the BBBS Fall Hike on the Frazier Discovery Trail! A huge thank you to Ranger Whitney for being our guide and sharing fascinating insights into the natural wonders we encountered along the way.

Special appreciation goes to the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club, Shenandoah National Park Trust, Public Lands who helped make this hike a success. And, of course, we can’t forget to give a shout-out to the beautiful weather that made the day even more enjoyable!

We also want to acknowledge the National Park Service and their hard-working team of employees, especially those currently focused on the post-Hurricane Helene recovery efforts on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Let’s show our support for the National Park Service: Shenandoah National Park as they continue their vital work in keeping these trails accessible and safe for everyone.

Thank you to all the Bigs and Littles who joined us on this memorable day. Stay tuned for photos from the hike!
